At Astute Gear (operated by On Walkabout Ventures), we are committed to providing a clear and reliable shipping experience. This policy explains how orders placed on astutegear.com are processed and delivered.

  • Price: Free on eligible orders

  • Destination: Contiguous United States (lower 48 states only)

  • Coverage: Applies to all products unless otherwise stated on the product page


2. Shipping Destinations

United States (Lower 48 States Only)

We currently ship only to physical addresses within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).

We do not ship to:

  • Alaska

  • Hawaii

  • U.S. territories

  • International destinations

  • P.O. Boxes that cannot accept carrier delivery

If we expand shipping regions in the future, this page will be updated.


3. Shipping Costs

Standard shipping is free on eligible orders shipped within the contiguous United States.

All applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. There are no hidden shipping charges.


4. Order Processing & Delivery Time

Order Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

Transit Time:
Delivery typically occurs within 3–7 business days after shipment, depending on brand and destination.

Total delivery time may vary based on product availability, brand fulfillment timelines, weather conditions, or carrier delays.

Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

If a product requires additional handling time, this will be noted on the product page and will override the general timeline above.


5. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Orders ship via trusted national carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or similar services. Carrier selection depends on product size, weight, and destination.


6. Tracking

All shipments include tracking. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.


7. Delivery Issues

Delayed or Lost Packages

If your delivery appears delayed beyond normal carrier timeframes, please contact us at support@astutegear.com or call 1-605-789-2670.

We will assist with carrier investigations as needed.

Marked Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package:

  • Confirm the shipping address entered at checkout

  • Check with neighbors or building management

  • Contact us for assistance

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Photograph the packaging and product immediately

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Retain all packaging materials

We will arrange a replacement or resolution as appropriate.


8. Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and item details.


9. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.
