Navimow i215 LiDAR robotic lawn mower, top-down detail view showing LiDAR sensor housing and control panel
Navimow i215 LiDAR Sale price$1,599.00
Overview

The Navimow i215 LiDAR is a wire-free robotic lawn mower from Segway, built for yards up to about 0.37 acre. It navigates using EFLS™ LiDAR (LiDAR+Vision), with VisionFence™ (LiDAR+140° RGB Camera) to detect and steer around obstacles. Mowing zones are drawn in the Navimow app via GeoSketch rather than a buried perimeter wire, and cutting height adjusts automatically as it mows.

What people like

This LiDAR-equipped robotic lawn mower is highly regarded for its wire-free setup and precise navigation capabilities, making it an excellent choice for yards with heavy tree coverage or complex layouts where traditional GPS or boundary wire systems might struggle. Users appreciate the easy installation, efficient mapping, and reliable performance on slopes, which combine to offer a significant time-saving alternative to traditional lawn maintenance. While it is praised for its advanced obstacle avoidance and app-based controls, some users have reported occasional navigation errors near edges or boundaries that require monitoring.

Pros

  • Wire-Free Setup: The system eliminates the need for buried boundary wires, making installation significantly easier and less invasive for the yard.
  • Precise LiDAR Navigation: Advanced LiDAR technology allows the device to create accurate 3D maps and navigate complex environments, such as shaded areas or yards with trees, more reliably than RTK-only systems.
  • Strong Slope Performance: The unit is recognized for its class-leading ability to handle steep slopes effectively.
  • User-Friendly App: The mobile application provides intuitive controls for scheduling, map editing, and managing multiple mowing zones, adding to the overall convenience.
